This is a very thoughtful biography of Guru Tegh Bahadur written by Dr. Fauja Singh, nicely written and footnoted. Dr. Gurbachan Singh has included an emotive translation of the 9th Guru's Bani, organized by Raag, and including notes that track the literal word translation.
This is a great book - one of the best about the 9th Guru.
