Not enough has been written about the great Guru Hargobind Sahib, and Col. Avtar Singh does a great service to our community with this book. The author gives us an intimate view of the 4 battles of Guru Hargobind, his successful tactics, and his evolutionary leadership style. I know of no other book that so beautifully captures the mission and vision of the 6th Guru.
