The Sri Gur Katha is written by Bhai Jaita, the great warrior-poet who bravely brought the head of Guru Tegh Bahadur back to Anandpur Sahib after his martyrdom in Delhi.  Guru Gobind Singh lovingly embraced Bhai Jaita and declared Rangreta gur ka bheta!
The Sri Gur Katha is one of oldest original transcripts that has survived.  Written in the language and style of the Dasam Granth, Neeti Singh has done a wonderful job in translation.  He writes about the rahit, the panj kakkars, the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and his unlimited love for his lord and guru, Guru Gobind Singh ji.
This is an important book for scholars and devotees alike.
