Khalsa Women's Training - Brazil

In mid- May, we made the journey to Belo Horizonte in Brazil to lead a wonderful and inspiring Khalsa Women's Training weekend.  With Pritpal Kaur - CEO of 3HO Foundation (3ho.org) and Guru Sangat Kaur - head of ABAKY (www.abaky.org.br), we shared some powerful moments with 163 women from Brazil and all over South America.              Together we shared two wonderful days of meditation, yoga, banis, and Guru's Darbar. One of the great thing about sharing time with Khalsa women, is that they are so wise and graceful.  Even though this was called a "training weekend", the instructors were each and every woman who attended.  Pritpal, Guru Sangat, and I were merely the conductors. Camp Miri Piri 2016 - Join Us

For many years now, Camp Miri Piri has started the summer season in Espanola.  This is my favorite time - enjoying the company of spirit-born people and singing the praises of Akal!  Camp Miri Piri is a celebration of the 6th Guru, Guru Hargobind.  It is a wonderful experience of body, mind, and spirit.  Join us this June in Espanola!

Sau Sakhees - a view into the day-to-day experience of Guru Gobind Singh Ji

The Sau Sakhees originate as stories told by Gurbaksh Singh (1672-1761) about the day-to-day events in the court of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.  The story goes that Bhai Gurbaksh Singh was a close attendant of Guru Gobind Singh.  In fact, it was Bhai Gurbaksh Singh who held the amazing blessing of attended the great Guru when he chose to leave this earth.  Bhai Gurbaksh Singh started his life as Bhai Ram Kanwar, a direct descendant of Baba Buddha Ji, and was the blessed-one who put the tilak on the forehead of Guru Gobind Rai in 1675.  When he received Khande di Pahul from Guru Gobind Singh himself, he took the name Bhai Gurbaksh Singh and remained for the rest of...
