Jassa Singh Ramgarhia is a Sikh hero of the highest degree, leading the Dal Khalsa during the difficult decades following the passing of the 10th Guru.  He lived from 1723 to 1803, serving the panth during both Ghalu Ghara, and eight invasions by Durrani.  This books chronicles the collective struggle launched by the Sikh community for political freedom, and give a view from the ground of what it was like to live through those years.  Bunga Ramgarhia sits with grace on the parkarma of the Sri Harmandir Sahib, well known with the two elegant and towers.  Giant personalities like Jassa Singh Ramgarhia shall be remembered by the Panth for all times.
