by Dr. Harjinder Singh Dilgeer
Published by Sikh University Center in 2003. This is a first edition, new hardcover book. Size: 8.5" x 5.5". Pages: 116. This book is out of print and hard to find and, in my opinion, it is the best little book written on the blessed city of Anandpur Sahib.
"Anandpur Sahib is the Puri (city) of Anand (Bliss). The very mention of Anandpur sahib creates a thrill in the veins of a genuine Sikh, his hair begin standing on the ends, his blood begins throbbing in his biceps, and, he feels himself in unexplainable moment of bliss.
Paying obeisance at Kesgarh Sahib immediately reminds of the revelation of Khalsa, the Punj Piaray and Khandey Di Pahul. A visit to Anandgarh for reminds of the martial music of the Chandi Di Vaar. Damalgarh becomes a living scene of Sahibzadas learning sword wielding.
This book is a record of the history of the Sikh City of Anandpur Sahib, from its origin to the days of Guru Sahib. Besides it also gives a summary of the events of the post-Guru period."
