Cherished Events of the Life of Pehli Patshahi, Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji

This is an English translation of Bhai Sahib Bhai Vir Singh's classic book " Balam Sakhian, Pelhi Patshahi".  It is a first edition, publsihed in 1989 by Washington Sikh Center.  It is a new soft cover book of 120 pages.

The writings of Bhai Sahib Bhai Vir Singh are an amazing treasure.  He not only portrays Sikh history faithfully, he infuses it with life and spirit as if he witnessed it first hand.  This slim book tell 65 stories from the life of Guru Nanak, beginning from his childhood in Siri Nankana Sahib and extended on to his vast journeys.  It is written in such a way that it appeal to children as well as adults.

I am forever grateful to the translations done by Uncle Ujagar Singh Bawa.  This important work has made it possible for me, and other English speaking seekers, to access important books and writings from Sikh History.
